TikTok limits username changes to once every 30 days. Ensure the seller account hasn't changed username recently.
Steps
Verify seller's cooldown period
Ask seller to confirm their account hasn't changed username in the past 30 days.
Buyer creates or prepares receiving account
Buyer needs an active TikTok account. Have the Profile → Edit Profile page open.
Seller changes username
Me → Edit profile → Username. Enter a new temporary username and save.
Buyer claims the handle
Buyer immediately goes to Edit Profile and sets the freed username.
Confirm transfer in escrow
Buyer confirms in ExchangeHandles. Payment released to seller.
