Steps
Seller logs in to PSN account management
Go to account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com → PSN Profile → Online ID.
Seller changes their Online ID
Change to a temporary ID. First change is free; subsequent changes cost $4.99 (PS Plus members free).
Buyer claims the freed Online ID
Buyer immediately goes to their PSN account settings and claims the freed ID.
Check game data compatibility
Some older PS3/PS4 games may not support Online ID changes. Sony provides a compatibility list at PlayStation.com.
Confirm in ExchangeHandles
Mark the transfer complete. Escrow funds released to seller.
